Shema is from Rwanda and Amelia is American. They had a Rwandan wedding earlier in 2013. This couple really valued video. Shema had friends film their proposal which was a video proposal in a movie theater! It was good to be able to incorporate the video piece they had already created in their finished DVDs and Blu-Rays. Amelia and I wrote back and forth discussing the right music to use for their trailer and movie file. I think we hit all of the right emotional beats with the music really aiding the storytelling in the finished product.
