Earlier this summer we were privileged to have the opportunity to film at Duke University Chapel for the wedding of Kathleen Greene & Reed Evans. Under the guidance of Carly Abernathy from Events by La Fete, these two attorneys threw a classy affair. Kathleen walked down the aisle with her dad and fellow Duke alum to a processional of trumpet and pipe organ. The collegiate gothic large stones, ribbed vaults, pointed arches and colorful stained glass provided an appropriate setting of majesty. Their reception followed at the Washington Duke Inn & Golf Club. Sharing the bride and groom’s love of Motown, their live band Horizon from Sam Hill Entertainment in Charlottesville, Virginia played many danceable classics.
