Emily and Daniel were married at the biggest Presbyterian church in Greenville, SC. 1st Pres Greenville is quite a strikingly beautiful place. Their Scottish pastor delivered a well received homily. Prior to the ceremony friends of Emily and Daniel played organ, piano and stringed instruments. Emily is a violinist and Daniel is a percussionist so music was of great importance to them. They both really like Big Band music and jazz/swing classics. That’s why I used the Bobby Darin version of Mack The Knife in their trailer. I really like how this trailer turned out. I love the song too, and enjoyed their live jazz band at the reception. The wedding party walked from the church to the reception venue, took some photos outside and then proceeded to their reception. The food here was good too. In particular the desserts which included cakes, pies and cookies. Some things were made by caterers and others by family members. A surprise delivery of Krispy Kreme donut holes arrived later in the night to the delight of the guests. They left via sparklers on a very humid July night. We loved shooting this video alongside Chris Isham Photography. Chris has great talent and the fact that he shoots on film makes him all the more impressive. No one shoots on film except Chris these days. Also awesome was Ali from Upstate I Do. She’s excellent at what she does.
