Tommy & Dee Dee were wed outside in an intimate courtyard wedding on the grounds of Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Draped under a canopy of lights and a dramatic sunset, the couple said, “I do.” Tom’s family originates in India and Dee Dee’s from Greece. The night was one to remember with many personalized moments unique to different traditions from three continents. They walked out to the most American of songs, “For Once In My Life” performed by Michael Buble and later Dee Dee danced the Kaslamantiano (a traditional Greek bridal dance) and many of Tom’s family wore colorful Indian robes. The food was a savory treat. We love eating any curry dish. The music alternated styles but finished up the night with American Top 40 dance music. Special moments from the day were the First Look which took place at the Four Seasons Garden behind the Great Hall. The staff at Daniel Stowe was very accommodating. Facilities even brought me a step ladder so I could hide cameras in the trees for their outdoor ceremony. This was the first wedding we did in 2012 that was decorated for Christmas. Daniel Stowe is good any time of year, but on November 17th it looked particular perfect.
