Keya and Justin were married at a church inside Karyea Park in Gastonia, NC. The park is nestled directly underneath Crowder’s Mountain. The mountain and surrounding hills are all visible through the tall pines at the park. The reception was in the adjacent facility and was well attended by friends and family. The couple recited their own personalized vows and one of their favorite local bands performed some special worship music during the ceremony. They also played a set during the reception prior to the DJ and the dance music. We liked their candy bar and other small detailed touches throughout the day and into the evening. It was a pleasure to be there and film their wedding day. Their trailer was given a dated look due to the usage of music dating from 1970. I used light leaks overlaid on the original HD footage in tandem with an old film grain texture to create the effect.
