Reba & Josh

Rebecca Jackson and Josh Shrom were wed near Spartanburg at First Baptist Church of Boiling Springs. They would have been married outdoors on the Jackon family’s land, but were rained out. They made the call at 9am to have the wedding at their church and it was the right call as it did rain through the ceremony time. The reception ended up being at Indigo Hall in Spartanburg. We enjoyed working with Jenny Farnham Williams again of Photography and Design by Jenny. The audio techs at the church were fantastic and did an excellent job with the lighting and music. The ceremony was an all-star Jackson family tribute with songs and hymns performed by Rebecca’s sisters, mother and father. As a fellow Erskine College graduate, history major, SCSL and Phi Alpha Theta member, it was a privilege to have the opportunity to film Reba’s day. Their trailer is not in our usual style because they chose songs that were particularly significant to them. The Duprees, “You Belong To Me” is a 1950s doo-whop number that they chose as their first dance song. I think it works well for them! Reba and Joshua were definitely over the moon excited and moods were not at all dampened by the weather!
